CALL FOR PARTCIPANTS
International Mobility
International Workshop for Students – “Smooth Transition”
Ruse Region, Bulgaria | 24–29 November 2025
(5 students aged 14–16 + 1 accompanying teacher per country)
We invite students aged 14–16 and one accompanying teacher from each partner school to join the International Workshop in Bulgaria, organised within the Erasmus+ project. The workshop will bring together young people from Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria to explore how inclusion, cooperation, and empathy can transform school communities.
The mobility will take place in Ostritsa, a picturesque village near the city of Ruse, often called “Little Vienna” for its beautiful 19th-century architecture and lively cultural scene. Participants will stay at Guest House “Cherni Lom”, surrounded by nature and hospitality, where all meals and activities will be provided.
The programme combines intercultural exchange, creative teamwork, and reflection activities based on the Inclusive Classrooms Teachers’ Book. Students will learn through play, dialogue, and experience – exploring topics such as trust-building, self-expression, cooperation, and seeing conflict as an opportunity for growth. Cultural evenings, a city game in Ruse, and a final Talent Night will make the experience both educational and unforgettable.
Selection Criteria
The call is open to 5 students (aged 14–16) per school, accompanied by 1 teacher. Selection will be based on motivation, openness to intercultural learning, and willingness to engage in teamwork and creative activities. The process is inclusive and non-competitive, ensuring equal opportunities for all learners, regardless of background or academic performance.
Priority will be given to students who:
Show curiosity and motivation to engage in intercultural teamwork;
Are willing to learn, share, and contribute to group activities;
Can represent their school community and apply lessons learned after returning home.
Accessibility
The workshop is designed to be fully accessible. The organisers ensure that:
Accommodation and activity spaces are wheelchair-accessible, with ramps, wide doors, and adapted restrooms;
Learning materials are provided in accessible formats (screen-reader friendly, high-contrast visuals, alt text for images);
Interpretation and captioning can be arranged if needed;
Quiet and sensory-friendly areas are available for rest and focus;
Dietary, health, or mobility needs are respected in all logistics;
Support persons or assistants are welcome and accommodated upon request.
Participants and families are encouraged to indicate any specific accessibility needs in the contact form to ensure everyone’s full inclusion and comfort.
